Who am I?

Self-taught, results driven and curious Lead Developer for about 16 years, I love solving complex problems. During my career, I faced many challenges in multiples sectors, such as banking, insurance, e-commerce or pharmaceutical industry. Every time, I try to find innovative and robust solutions, while trying to implement best practices.

I like to face all types of challenges. It could go from define and design new projects, to maintain and update an existing one or to search for new and non-existing solutions to solve a problem we faced.

To do so, I am rigorous and I pay attention to detail, all while remaining open-minded and attentive to alternative solutions and ideas. As a Lead Developer, I expect the team I am working with to be the same, but also to ask any question and question decisions if they seem inappropriate.

During my free time, I like to practice sports – mainly rackets sports. Since I am a kid, I play both tennis and badminton – and discovered golf and squash later on.

I am lucky enough to compete at National and International level in badminton and that taught me to be tenacious and persevering in my life. This lead me to perform on some national competition, both in France and Canada – entered in National level competitions and National Championships – and even on international events, against some of the best players in the world!

Finally, I enjoy a lot travelling. As a French citizen and resident, I visited multiple European countries (mostly Western Europe) and discovered cultural differences, new gastronomies and very nice and interesting people, that helped shape me as a human being. Last year, my wife and I also enjoyed an awesome trip in one of the most beautiful place on Earth – Hawaii. We discovered the Hawaiian Islands lifestyle and culture – as well as majestic landscapes.

And during my free time, I like to play boardgames, go see some movies or read books – being a huge fan of Science Fiction. I also enjoy learning new things – either in IT or simply general culture topics.
